Job DetailsLevel: EntryJob Location: Hartford - HARTFORD, WI 53027Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: 1st ShiftWelder Trainee What You’ll Do Complete classroom and hands-on training in welding operations, equipment controls, safety, and quality. Operate automated MIG and TIG robotic welding equipment under supervision. Read basic blueprints, specifications, and welding symbols. Load and position parts correctly for welding. Visually inspect welds and completed parts for defects. Perform basic quality checks and document results. Identify equipment or weld-quality concerns and notify the appropriate team member. Enter production and job information into company computer systems. Assist with minor rework, material handling, stacking, and packing. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety, quality, and operating procedures. Competencies Attention to Detail Collaboration & Teamwork Personal Accountability Trust and Respect Safety Awareness Communication QualificationsMinimum Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience and/or Training: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, or move for extended periods Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand/power tools Willingness to learn new tasks and follow verbal and written instructions Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to follow all safety rules and procedures Preferred Qualifications Education Experience and/or Training: Physical and Mental Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee must frequently sit, stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls. Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and move between work areas. Regularly required to talk and listen, as well as climb, balance, and reach above shoulder level. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception. The employee must be able to lift and or carry up to 50 lbs. frequently.
