Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our medical-surgical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care and rehabilitation, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in a critical access setting.

Unit Profile

• Department: Medical Surgical Combination
• Patient Ratios: 6:1
• Number of Beds: 16 Medical-Surgical & 2 Acute Care Unit
• Electronic Health Record: Medhost
• Patient Population: Adult with a mix of geriatric patients

Position Information

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Specialty: Med/Surg with Swing Beds
• Shift: 19:00 - 07:30
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every Other/As Needed

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Years of Experience: 2+ years required
• Education: Must possess certification/licensure to work as an RN in the state of Kentucky

Preferred Experience

• Experience in Medical-Surgical settings
• Acute care and rehabilitation experience

Common Diagnoses and Treatments

The team manages lower level acute and subacute rehabilitation patients, providing comprehensive care for various medical conditions.

Work Environment

The candidate should have a professional demeanor and be capable of maintaining physical standards associated with direct patient care.

Dress Code

Scrub color: Solids matching no specific color requirements. Unacceptable attire includes fleece, hoodies, or non-scrub gear.
