Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapy Specialty: Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days, Every Other Weekend Hours per Shift: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: California PT license Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: Acute Inpatient PT experience is required. Description: Daily patient load is approximately 12. Common diagnoses include General Medical/Deconditioned, TKA, THA, Spinal surgeries, General orthopedic patients, CVA. Required to cover Medical/Surgical, ICU, and Emergency Room areas. The schedule mainly consists of shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with an occasional shift from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM once a week. Weekend coverage is required every third weekend, with Monday and Friday off during those weekends. There are no holiday requirements. Dress code includes burgundy polo and scrub or khaki bottoms. Department-specific orientation will be provided in addition to general hospital orientation. The charting system utilized is Cerner. The facility maintains a cancellation policy which allows for up to 4 shifts to be cancelled during a 13-week assignment. This position does not require a BSN.
