Role Overview As a Cardiac Sonographer , you will perform cardiac imaging procedures and support providers in delivering accurate diagnoses and high‑quality patient care. Key responsibilities include: Performing cardiac ultrasound and Doppler diagnostic testing Assisting physicians and care teams during procedures Ensuring accurate image acquisition and adherence to clinical protocols Supporting clinical operations and workflow within the cardiology team Maintaining equipment and ensuring proper functionality Providing patient support and ensuring a positive experience during procedures Maintaining documentation and compliance with clinical standards Performing other duties as assigned Qualifications Education Required: Technical training in cardiovascular technology, sonography, or ultrasound Preferred: Associate’s degree in a related science field Experience Preferred: Experience in echocardiology Licensure / Certification Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification One of the following within one (1) year: RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) What We Offer BayCare provides a competitive total rewards package designed to support your career and well‑being, including: Comprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision Benefits (eligibility based on status) Tuition Assistance Wellness programs and community perks Take the Next Step Bring your cardiac imaging expertise to BayCare and support high‑quality cardiology care within a collaborative Medical Group setting.
