URGENT: Sitter Wanted - Part Time Caregiver/Nanny Needed — Washington, Dc ( $20 $22/Hourly)

Hey everyone! Our family is looking for a reliable, patient, and trustworthy part-time nanny/caregiver to help care for our two children, ages 4 years old and 1 year old. Our biggest need is finding someone who can become a dependable part of our family’s routine and help us manage school/daycare transportation, appointments, and occasional late work days. 📅 Primary Responsibilities

• Help with our children on Wednesdays, including taking them to scheduled appointments.
• Our children’s appointments may be at different locations.
• We have access to Lyft transportation through our insurance for therapy appointments, so the caregiver may accompany the children using that transportation when applicable.
• Drop our children off at their respective school and daycare locations, which are separate.
• Pick the children up from school/daycare on certain days when I have to work late.
• Provide occasional childcare outside of transportation needs.
• Prepare simple meals/snacks for the children.
• Engage the children in age-appropriate activities and play.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment related to the children’s needs.

👧🏽 About Our Children Our 4-year-old is very energetic and active and does best with a caregiver who is patient, structured, engaging, and comfortable providing positive redirection. Experience working with high-energy children, children with ADHD/suspected ADHD, or neurodiverse children is strongly preferred. The caregiver must also be comfortable caring for a 1-year-old while managing the needs of an active 4-year-old. We’re looking for someone who understands that every child is different and can remain calm, attentive, and nurturing even when things get busy. ⭐ Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience caring for toddlers and preschool-aged children
• Experience with high-energy or neurodiverse children preferred
• Patient, nurturing, and dependable
• Comfortable supervising two young children simultaneously
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable accompanying children to appointments and school/daycare
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle preferred for situations where personal transportation may be needed
• Clean driving record and current auto insurance if transporting the children
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
• Able to provide references
• Willing to complete a background check
