Cedarville Engineering Group, LLC (CEG) is hiring full-time Construction Inspectors for remote assignments in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. Become a vital part of our Municipal Team, working under the guidance of our seasoned Construction Inspection Manager, while reporting directly to City employees or Prime Contractors. What You’ll Do Coordinate with contractors, utility companies, and property owners to ensure smooth project execution. Interpret construction plans and specifications, applying your expertise to real-world projects. Ensure compliance with municipal codes, standards, and regulations. Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety. Prepare timely daily reports and maintain accurate records of all inspection activities. Communicate technical information clearly and professionally to all stakeholders. Successful candidates will have Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction inspection methods. Excellent communication skills —able to convey technical information effectively. Detail-oriented, firm, and punctual —you hold contractors accountable and consistently meet deadlines. Commitment to professionalism and a passion for urban infrastructure. Must have a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
