Key Responsibilities Able to conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations, using evidence-based methodologies to determine clients’ mental health needs and to formulate personalized treatment plans. Provide individualized therapeutic services via secure virtual platforms, adapting your approach to the unique preferences and goals of each client. Engage in active collaboration with clients to establish clear therapeutic goals, monitor their progress, and adapt treatment strategies when necessary. Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and solution-focused therapy, to enhance treatment effectiveness. Maintain meticulous documentation of therapy sessions and client progress in compliance with relevant regulations and organizational policies. Patient Population / Client Focus Our client population is diverse, encompassing adults, adolescents, and families grappling with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. As a mental health counselor, you will play a critical role in supporting clients from different backgrounds, helping them navigate their unique challenges and achieve their mental health goals. Qualifications Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required. Exceptional communication skills that facilitate rapport-building and therapeutic relationships with clients in a virtual setting. Demonstrated empathy, patience, and understanding toward clients' experiences, fostering a supportive and compassionate therapeutic atmosphere. Organizational and time-management skills essential for juggling caseloads and maintaining necessary documentation remotely. Preferred Experience A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, preferably in a remote setting. Familiarity with telehealth practices and technologies, enhancing your ability to effectively engage with clients. Experience working with diverse populations, enabling an adaptable and culturally competent approach to therapy. Compensation and Benefits Competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $104,000, commensurate with caseload and experience.
