Job Description
Operating Room Scrub Tech

This position is for a 12-hour weekend shift where you will work on Saturdays and Sundays, with additional shifts on either Mondays or Fridays, depending on the staffing needs. You may also be required to work during holidays.

Unit Description

The facility is a renowned academic medical center offering a comprehensive range of services, equipped with 33 operating rooms. All surgical services are provided except for burn cases.

Qualifications

• Licenses/Certificates: Valid and current licensing is required.
• Health Requirements:
  
  
  • MMR vaccination
  • Fit Test certification
  • Hepatitis B vaccination
  • Varicella vaccination
  • Tdap vaccination
  • Annual negative PPD or equivalent
  • Influenza vaccination
• Background Checks: Completion of a criminal background check and additional professional verification is mandatory.
• Drug Screening: Successful completion of a drug screening is required.
• Skill Assessment: You will need to complete a skills checklist and competency exams.

Additional Information

If you have experience in surgical scrubbing, it is considered an asset for this position. Candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced environment and be able to demonstrate their clinical expertise effectively.
