What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality nursing care to ICU patients in a fast-paced, acute care environment
• Float across various ICU units including MICU, TICU, Neuro ICU, and Burn ICU
• Monitor patient health status and respond to emergencies promptly
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital policies
• Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record (Epic experience required)
• Adhere to safety standards and infection control protocols

What You Need

• Valid nursing license in Louisiana or appropriate compact state
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience
• Epic EMR system experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications

• CPI and CCRN certifications
• Experience with float pool assignments

About the Assignment This float pool ICU nursing role offers a dynamic and rewarding experience working across multiple ICU units within a leading healthcare facility in New Orleans. The position requires flexibility to float to different units, providing critical care to diverse patient populations. The shift is scheduled overnight from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a maximum of five days of RTO.
