Physical Therapist (PT) – Travel, Part-Time

South Miami, FL | Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Part-Time | Days, including Weekends | 13-Week Assignment | Expected 20 hours/week | Start Time: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient rehabilitation therapy services to adult patients across neurological, orthopedic, stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and amputation programs
• Deliver individualized, evidence-based physical therapy treatment plans tailored to each patient's recovery goals
• Utilize facility equipment including Hoyer lifts, Vector systems, and LiteGait devices to support patient mobility and rehabilitation
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1 depending on patient acuity and program needs
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient health, function, and quality of life
• Document all patient care accurately within the facility's electronic health record (EHR) system

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license from an accredited university and program
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience required
• Ability to work day shifts including weekends

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with neurological patient populations (e.g., stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury)
• Familiarity with common diagnoses including stroke and other neurological conditions
• Collaborative, self-starting, and problem-solving approach to patient care
