Summary/Objective:
The Cleaner/Finisher is responsible for A-side surface preparation in the Robot Weld process for metal structures. This role uses air-driven grinders and other hand tools to ensure parts meet customer shipping criteria and quality standards. The position requires effective communication with co-workers, adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
Essential Functions:
- Safely unload designated racks of carriers to the finishing table.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Cleaner/Finisher tasks.
- Safely load completed carriers onto the conveyor line.
- Accurately use the Finisher cycle button to record daily production.
- Identify and contain all reworkable, repairable, or damaged parts in the Non-Conformance area for skilled rework.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with other departments as needed.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Adhere to all company rules, policies, and safety standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
