Rental Associate Rental associates are responsible for generating sales through world‑class guest service, assisting customers with rental equipment and providing our guests with gear and services for the ultimate outdoor experience. Job Specifications Starting Wage: $20/hr Employment Type: Summer Seasonal 2026 Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available Housing Availability: No Job Responsibilities Provide excellent guest service at one of our retail shops Fit guests with equipment – we’ll train you! Explain to guests how to operate rental equipment, safety practices, and guest responsibilities during the rental, including length of rental and return options Work together with teammates to maintain safety standards May include other duties such as cashiering and retail sales Other duties as assigned Job Requirements Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends Commitment to exceptional customer service Maintain a working knowledge of products and trends within the industry Ability to stand and move in an active, team‑oriented environment for extended periods Must be able to communicate fluently in English Additional Roles Mountain Activities Retail Rental operations Food and Beverage Support Ticket sales or scanning Lift Operations Base Area Operations Vail Resorts is an equal opportunity employer.
