Targeting Officer

Targeting Officer Leidos has multiple Targeting Officer positions in Northern Virginia. Candidates must have or be able to attain a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph examination and be willing to work a weekly rotating 24/7 shift schedule, including weekends and holidays. Targeting Officers guide and monitor the execution of collection operations, integrating the collected data into a cohesive intelligence narrative. They communicate regularly to a wide audience of stakeholders, both in written reports and in verbal briefings. They identify gaps in information and proactively address those gaps. Key Responsibilities Guide and monitor collection operations. Integrate collected data into a cohesive intelligence narrative. Communicate complex information in written reports and verbal briefings. Identify information gaps and take proactive steps to address them. Draft and disseminate written RFIs. Deliver concise briefings to stakeholders. Minimum Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to multitask and work in high‑stress environments. Experience with targeting tools, databases, all source targeting methodologies, and different intel sources. Ability to manage taskings and maintain information flow across multiple organizations. Valid driver’s license with Real ID. Education Bachelor’s degree and at least 8–12 years of full‑time professional experience. Candidates with a Master’s degree are highly desirable with 6–10 years of experience. Pay Range $92,300.00 – $166,850.00.
