Medical Assistant/LPN - Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic

Position Medical Assistant or LPN in Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic, Knoxville, TN. The University Physicians' Association seeks qualified applicants. The role is detail-oriented, focusing on patient instructions, writing orders, and patient‑centered care. Responsibilities Assist physicians with patient care, including scheduling appointments, rooming patients during clinic, medication reconciliation, vitals, and 6 MWT. Prepare charts, scan, and obtain outside medical records before clinic for established patients. Follow up on labs, EKGs, ABG, and sleep studies or referrals after clinic. Establish and maintain professional relationships with physicians, patients, and families, conveying a positive image of the practice.
