We are seeking a skilled and dependable individual to join our Maintenance team. We are a Real Estate Development and Property Management Company that leases and manages retail and warehouse spaces. Building Maintenance workers assist with a variety of projects involving the installation, repair, and overall maintenance of our commercial properties.
Responsibilities may include general repairs, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting building issues, and ensuring the properties remain safe, clean, and well-maintained for tenants and staff.
The ideal candidate has prior experience in building maintenance, is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with little to no supervision. The ability to handle multiple tasks and a proactive work ethic are highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the skills, tasks, and materials needed to perform simple maintenance, repairs, and alterations.
- Communicate information relevant to building maintenance effectively with staff, tenants, and vendors.
- Adjust work priorities based on building occupancy and staff needs.
- Make accurate estimates for labor time and materials required for various projects and repairs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields.
- Familiarity with hand-held tools and maintenance equipment.
- Deadline and detail-oriented.
- Ability to handle a physical workload.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
