Registered Nurse - Surgical Services

Location: California

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift: 3x12-Hour (06:45 - 18:45)

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various surgical procedures and be able to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing surgery.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care and monitor patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field for surgical procedures.
• Assist the surgical team with various tasks, including surgical instrumentation.
• Administer medications and provide post-operative care as needed.
• Educate patients and their families regarding post-operative care and recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in surgical nursing.
• Current State RN license.
• BCLS certification required.
• Ability to float to other facilities as needed.
