What We're Looking For: Clinical Skills & Experience - Required Minimum of 2 years of hands-on dental assisting experience in a general dentistry practice. Current Maryland dental radiography certification or other authorization accepted by the Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners. Proficiency in fabricating temporary crowns independently. Strong four-handed dentistry skills and ability to anticipate the doctor's next steps. Knowledge of dental instruments, materials, procedures, sterilization, and infection control.
