Job Description:

This role involves providing nursing care in an outpatient oncology clinic. The nurse will manage patient profiles, assist with clinic procedures, and support pre-transplant and post-transplant BMT patients.

Responsibilities:

• Rooming patients and conducting VS, review of systems, medication reconciliation, and weight management
• Assisting with provider exams and procedures in the clinic
• Executing orders and processing patients for infusions
• Performing chart checks and setting up for procedures
• Reviewing referrals for patient care coordination

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1.5 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in Oncology
• Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing
• BLS certification required; ONS and OCN preferred
• Experience with Epic Ambulatory system
• Clinic experience required, including proficiency in performing and supporting clinical procedures
