Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions following the PT plan of care to help patients restore mobility and independence
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment with accuracy and timeliness
• Empower patients through education and home exercise programs that promote long-term success
• Communicate patient status clearly to the supervising PT to ensure seamless care coordination
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards in every patient interaction
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize each patient's recovery journey

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active state PTA license or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to follow treatment plans and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Physical therapy and rehabilitation interventions
• Patient documentation and progress tracking
• Patient education and home exercise program instruction
• Clear communication with supervising PT and care team
• Infection control and safety compliance
• Collaboration and teamwork in a healthcare setting
