School Business Manager - Our Lady of Mercy Regional School - Maple Glen, PA Jul 30 2026 MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: The School Business Manager is responsible for the financial operations of the school. The School Business Manager is to provide support, oversight and advice to the pastor and principal regarding financial management, staff and general operations. SUPERVISED BY: Pastor and Principal WORK SCHEDULE: Full Time

REPRESENTATIVE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Strong financial background and knowledge of accounting systems (QuickBooks) Strong communication and collaboration skills with a willingness to work with pastor, principal and board members Ability to work with and maintain confidential information Demonstrate an understanding, respect and support for Roman Catholic Church teaching, mission and values.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for Maintaining all Accounting functions, including: Timely recording all bank deposits and records Processing of account payable payments in a complete and timely fashion, including proper accounting entries Processing of bi-weekly payroll Reconciliation of monthly bank statements Monthly, Quarterly and Annual financial reports Prepare and monitor annual budget Assist principal with aide and grant monies as needed Monthly Financial Reports and attendance for the Strategic Planning Assistance Team (SPAT): Month end balance sheet fully reconciled with accruals analyzed (Adjusting all items appropriately to give proper justification) Budget performance report/YTD vs Actual report Cash Flow/Projection Analysis Ability to clearly explain the above reports for easy understanding for larger stakeholders Coordinate employee benefits Attend quarterly OLM board meetings Identify areas of cost saving and act to maximize these savings Follow financial procedures established by the school and Archdiocese in all matters Make payroll and pension entries Make payroll/benefits accrual monthly for teachers FACTS - Pull down weekly receipts and make entries into G/L #J-18808-Ljbffr The Archdiocese Of Philadelphia
