A Day in the Life of an IT Business Analyst III As an IT Business Analyst III supporting Domain Services, you will lead efforts to analyze legacy policy administration, claims, billing, and financial systems to understand data structures, service contracts, and integration patterns. You will also map legacy data elements to modern ingestion pipelines, defining transformation rules, data lineage, and reconciliation strategies while identifying gaps, risks, and dependencies to support successful migration planning. Additionally, you will partner with architects and engineering teams to transition from a federated architecture to a domain-oriented design (DDD) model by decomposing legacy services into domain-aligned capabilities and clearly defined bounded contexts. This will include activities to document domain models, integration contracts, and event schemas to support scalable, event-driven modernization. Key Tools & Technologies You’ll Work With RDBMS : studying current state with Oracle, SQL Server, Db2 APIs : review existing use of REST APIs and model new Domain APIs Azure DevOps : creating epics, features, user stories; writing acceptance criteria in Gherkin format; documenting logic for data mapping and transformations MS PowerPoint and MS Visio : Develop clear, structured presentations and process diagrams to onboard associates and drive standardization of documentation, requirements gathering, and operational workflows, improving clarity, consistency, and cross-team alignment Premier Benefits to Support You We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. 401(k) savings plan with pension options.
