Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and community-oriented Insurance Associate to join our team. This full-time position is ideal for someone with a strong customer service background who enjoys working with people, can manage deadlines, and is comfortable conducting one-on-one client meetings. The role involves both in-office work and travel to visit clients on-site.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with local personal lines, commercial and agricultural clients
Educate clients insurance options and policy coverage
Process applications, policy changes, and claims support
Manage deadlines and ensure timely policy servicing
Travel locally to meet with clients (must have reliable transportation)
Stay up to date on industry trends and insurance products

Requirements

Strong customer service background: insurance experience is a plus
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet hard and fast deadlines
Must reside in Livingston County, IL
Must obtain a Property & Casualty License within 90 days of hire (paid by employer)
Proficiency with basic computer applications (email, Microsoft Office, data entry)
Prior experience in insurance, sales, or farm-related industries is a plus
