Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit

Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks - Weekend requirement: 8 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (combination of Fri/Sat/Sun)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Minimum 2 years RN experience

Travel RN experience required

Pending license accepted at submission

Licensure: Kansas and Missouri licenses or a compact license may be required

Certifications: BLS, NIHSS

Provide high-acuity post-operative surgical and trauma care to diverse patient populations.

Monitor and interpret telemetry data while managing dysrhythmias.

Administer and manage various infusion therapies, including epidural analgesia and PCA.

Conduct continuous bladder irrigation and manage feeding tubes and surgical drains.

Collaborate with healthcare teams and participate in rapid response scenarios as needed.

Documentation deadlines and module submissions outlined.

Pre-start modules total 10–15 hours and are due by Monday one week prior to start.

Must complete Epic training module and other required training by specified deadlines.
