As our Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist, your goal is to deliver state‑of‑the‑art prostheses and excellent services to clinical partners and users of our cutting‑edge assistive technology. This role offers the opportunity to grow your experience, skills and responsibilities along with the company. Key Responsibilities Deliver the highest standard of clinical services to Open Bionics customers in accordance with core values. Provide training and ongoing support for patients using their upper limb prosthesis to achieve daily living activities and personal goals. Educate and certify prosthetic care providers on our systems and devices. Track performance via customer feedback, metrics and ERP system data to make smart decisions for growth. Review potential users’ eligibility for our devices and support trials with clinical partners when required. Coordinate clinical input to improve adoption rate, prescription and funding applications of patients. Provide internal clinical input to developers on product development of both hardware and software. Test new versions or products, considering clinical benefits for clinicians and users. Contribute to documentation for clinicians and end‑users. Participate in consumer or trade shows, exhibitions and conferences, including booth activities, workshops and communications. Contribute to clinical research projects/publications to reinforce the clinical value of solutions. Take an active role in research and development projects of new technologies that aid clinicians. Provide a patient‑centered approach to upper limb prosthetic rehabilitation and continuous support to users. Attend and host a weekly satellite visit once per quarter. First Six Months Expectations Develop a sustainable and efficient clinical workflow/pipeline in conjunction with UK and US clinics. Person Scorecard Certified Prosthetist with 1–5 years of experience or recently graduated; prior experience with upper limb solutions (myoelectric/multi‑articulating/bionic) is advantageous. Evidence‑based practice approach to patient care with understanding of Open Bionics’ vision. Proficient with shape capture and rectification methods; experience with 3D scanning preferred. Ability to outline appropriate prosthetic prescriptions for upper limb absence and demonstrate creative problem‑solving. Excellent patient care with high motivation to provide the best experience and monitor outcomes. Dedication to achieving successful patient outcomes defined by patients. Certified by the Board of Orthotist/Prosthetist Certification (BOC) or American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics (ABC) as Prosthetist or Orthotist/Prosthetist.
