The Senior Accountant will work on closely held businesses and high net worth individuals. The Firm is a well-respected public accounting firm that has been named by the Providence Business News as one of the Best Places to Work for 13 consecutive years.ResponsibilitiesPreparation of complex individual, corporate, and partnership returns including multi-state and consolidated returnsReview of tax returns completed by staffAssist in designing tax planning strategies for clientsPrepare compilations and reviews of financial statementsManaging, developing, training and mentoring of staffEstablishing and maintaining client relationships including managing expectations and meeting deadlinesEducation/Skills/ExperienceBachelors in accounting, MPAc a plusCPA certification preferable3+ years of experience in an accounting role with a public accounting firmStrong technical skills and research capabilitiesDetail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projectsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with CCH Axcess Tax, CCH Engagement, and CCH Axcess Document a plusWe have a strong commitment to our employees professional development and career advancement.
