Weld County Garage | Greeley, Colorado

Are you an experienced automotive salesperson who is ready for something more than waiting for the next customer to walk through the door?

Weld County Garage is expanding our used vehicle operation with a new secondary sales location focused on affordable, value-priced used vehicles . These vehicles may have a few more miles and a little more character, but they offer customers something increasingly important: reliable transportation at a price that makes sense.

We are looking for a Lead Sales & Leasing Consultant who wants to help us build this operation from the ground up.

This isn't a traditional desk-manager position, and it isn't a traditional sales-floor job either. You'll sell cars, help close deals, champion the lot, and keep the entire operation moving.

What Makes This Role Different?

This will be a small, hands-on operation .

You'll work alongside another sales consultant, an automotive technician, and a detailer, with management and Finance support provided remotely by the Weld County Garage team.

That means there isn't a manager standing ten feet away directing every move—and that's intentional.

As the Lead, you'll be the on-site champion of the location . You'll continue to sell vehicles and earn based on your performance, while also helping make sure cars move through reconditioning, get detailed, make it onto the lot, are properly merchandised, and ultimately get sold.

Nothing sits.

What Will You Do?

Sell Cars & Take Care of Customers

You'll guide customers through the entire vehicle-buying experience—from understanding their needs and budget to test drives, deal structure, financing, delivery, and follow-up.

Our vehicles are value-priced and may have higher mileage or normal cosmetic imperfections. We want someone who can confidently and transparently set expectations while providing customers with the same level of professionalism and hospitality they would receive at Weld County Garage.

Help Put Deals Together

This role has more ownership of the deal than a traditional sales consultant position.

You'll gather customer information, assist with credit applications and documentation, help work through objections, and partner remotely with Weld County Garage management and Finance to structure and complete transactions.

When the other salesperson needs a second voice or a little help getting a deal across the finish line, you'll step in and help close it.

Champion the Lot

You'll keep an eye on the entire operation—not just your own customers.

You'll help ensure:

• Vehicles move efficiently through inspection and reconditioning
• Completed vehicles get to detail quickly
• Sale-ready vehicles make it onto the lot without unnecessary delay
• Buyers Guides, pricing, stickers, disclosures, and merchandising are correct
• The lot stays organized, clean, attractive, and ready for customers
• Problems get addressed rather than becoming tomorrow's problems

You'll work closely with the on-site technician and detailer and stay connected with Weld County Garage management regarding inventory, sales activity, and anything slowing the operation down.

Who Are We Looking For?

We're looking for someone who has automotive sales experience and an ownership mentality .

You'll probably enjoy this role if you:

• Know how to sell cars and build relationships with customers
• Understand the basics of structuring an automotive deal
• Are comfortable discussing financing and helping customers through the credit process
• Can close your own deals and help another salesperson close theirs
• Don't need a manager physically present to stay motivated
• Notice when something isn't getting done—and do something about it
• Are organized enough to balance customers, follow-up, paperwork, inventory, and lot responsibilities
• Aren't afraid to move vehicles, straighten the lot, put stickers in windows, or help wherever needed
• Enjoy being part of a small team where everyone's contribution matters
• Believe that affordable transportation deserves the same honesty, professionalism, and customer care as any other vehicle we sell

Automotive sales experience is strongly preferred. Previous lead, closing, F&I, or dealership management experience would be a plus, but we are more interested in finding the right combination of sales ability, initiative, leadership, and attitude.

What This Role Is — and Isn't

This is a leadership opportunity.

You'll help set the pace, coordinate daily priorities, support the team, keep inventory moving, and champion the success of the location.

But this is not a traditional Sales Manager position. You won't spend your day sitting behind a desk managing people. Formal hiring, disciplinary, compensation, and performance-management responsibilities remain with dealership management.

We need someone who wants to lead from the front.
