responsibilities:

• Serve as the custodian of the Tool Data Management (TDM) database, ensuring all cutting-tool records are accurate, complete, and established as the organization's single source of truth.

• Create and modify 3D cutting-tool and toolholder geometries while accurately defining complete assemblies, classifications, and compatibility parameters.

• Maintain and update approved speeds, feeds, and critical cutting parameters within TDM based on official part-qualification and metallurgical test results.

• Track and manage requests for new cutting tools from initial identification through technical validation, data entry, and deployment to the CNC programming team.

• Partner closely with CNC programmers, machinists, and engineers to understand shop-floor challenges and transition active tooling definitions into the TDM environment.
