Painter

Job TitlePerform all sorts of skilled painting including interior and exterior decorating, wall covering, staining, varnishing, and/or refinishing of equipment. Also performs general maintenance duties.Principle ResponsibilitiesPrepares surfaces for painting.Painting, repair and maintenance.Hang wall coverings.Ensure the shop and equipment are clean and safely kept.Other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsMust be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description2+ years of painting experience ie preparation, application, knowledge and care of equipment (in a Hospital setting preferred)Preferred QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDVocational or Technical Training as a Journeyman Painter in a trade unionPhysical DemandsMedium Work:Lifting weight up to 50 lbs. occasionally, up to 25 lbs. frequentlyLicenses/CertificationsValid Driver's License required upon hire - MN and WI residents must obtain a valid driver's license in their state of residence within 60 days of employment if working in a clinic settingPay RangePay Range: $31.07 to $42.59 per hourThe pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
