Incorporates differences into the provision of care while integrating knowledge, skills and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families to include patient and family education. Achieves desired patient outcomes by using an integrated approach. Incorporates data and information to improve care and enhances outcomes while ensuring improvements in practice settings. Provides direction and guidance to others regarding practice while serving as a resource, preceptor and mentor.Duties:Phone triage and advice for general and trauma surgery patientsCare navigationIn-basket managementSurgery prep and coordination with surgeon as neededAdditional Requirements:Experience: 0 years of registered nurse clinical experience.Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.Certification: BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification requiredLicensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RNWork schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pmPreferred Qualifications:Preferred 1-2 years of acute care experience as a RN in ambulatory setting
