Contract | Full-Time | Days (5x8, 8:00–17:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services across outpatient, inpatient, and skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings within scope of practice
• Evaluate and treat patients of all ages and diagnoses in a critical access hospital environment
• Participate in specialty therapy areas including wound care, lymphedema, pelvic floor, and pediatric services as applicable
• Float between outpatient, acute care, and SNF coverage areas to meet facility needs
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska Physical Therapist license required — no pending licenses accepted
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• 2 professional references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with pediatric and adolescent patient populations
• Background in specialty therapy areas such as lymphedema, pelvic floor, or wound care
• Prior experience in a critical access hospital or multi-setting therapy department
