Role Overview This position involves providing direct patient care in a high-risk cardiology unit, managing patients with cardiac conditions such as CAD, HTN, arrhythmias, heart failure, and post-procedure care. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans, educating patients and families, and promoting safety and quality compliance. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, communication across care teams, and adherence to standards of nursing practice. Qualifications & Skills RN license, with a nursing diploma or associate degree; bachelor’s degree preferred. No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and extensive EKG training. Ability to work safely, demonstrate critical nursing skills, and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Key Duties Assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional patient needs. Develop and communicate individualized care plans. Educate patients and families on illness management, medication, and post-care needs. Participate in safety, quality improvement, and professional development activities. Maintain compliance with regulatory standards in a safety-sensitive environment.
