The Remodel/Flooring professional plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality flooring and remodeling projects, working primarily with hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and tile materials. Operating within a small team of 2-5 people, this role requires frequent travel to various job sites within the region and regular consultation with customers. Candidates must bring their own tools and vehicle, possess a valid driver's license, and pass a background check. A strong knowledge of construction and flooring, along with adherence to safety and drug-free policies, is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Install various flooring types including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and tile
• Prepare surfaces and perform site measurements for accurate material cutting
• Carry out demolition, cleanup, and finish work to ensure project quality
• Install cabinets and refinish hardwood floors
• Apply general construction skills including drywall, painting, minor electrical, and minor plumbing
• Maintain safety standards on job sites
• Collaborate effectively within a small team
• Consult regularly with customers to meet project requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Over 2 years experience in flooring and remodeling
• Proficient in flooring installation techniques and material handling
• Skilled in using power tools and construction layout
• Knowledgeable in framing, drywall, painting, minor electrical, and minor plumbing
• Understanding of safety standards
• Strong physical stamina for demanding tasks
