Responsibilities This position will assist anesthesia providers and the ASC team with the acquisition, preparation, and application of equipment and supplies required for anesthesia and blocks. Responsibilities include preparing, setting up, calibrating, troubleshooting, and maintaining patient monitoring devices and anesthesia delivery systems before, during, and after anesthesia. You will assist with transporting and positioning patients, participate in resuscitative efforts, clean, disinfect, and sterilize work areas and equipment, and manage supplies and inventory. Required Qualifications High School Graduate or GED from an accredited program BLS certification through the American Heart Association 2+ years experience as an anesthesia technician (AT) Basic computer knowledge Critical thinking, solid verbal communication skills, and attention to detail Ability to multitask and manage time effectively; ability to work independently Excellent customer service skills; proficiency with operating and decontaminating anesthesia equipment Willingness to rotate to multiple Ambulatory Surgery Center locations based on staffing and operational needs Preferred Qualifications Completion of an anesthesia technician training program approved by ASATT Certified Anesthesia Technician designation Additional experience in anesthesia technician role Microsoft Word proficiency Compensation and Benefits Pay is based on local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, and other factors. Hourly pay ranges from $18 to $32 for full‑time employment.
