About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Finance to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the financial strategy, leading all financial operations, and ensuring the organization's financial health. This executive role involves close partnership with senior leadership to enhance financial performance, operational efficiency, and support long-term business growth. Key responsibilities include leading financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and treasury, as well as overseeing compliance with GAAP and internal controls. The VP of Finance will also provide strategic financial analysis, mentor the accounting and finance team, and lead process improvements. Applicants for the Vice President of Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA and/or MBA being preferred. A minimum of 10 years' progressive finance and accounting experience, including executive leadership, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and strategic planning, and experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or multi-entity environment is also preferred. The role demands a proven ability to influence executive decision-making, advanced ERP and Excel skills, and a continuous improvement mindset. The VP of Finance will be a key player in the organization, driving financial success and supporting the company's strategic initiatives.
