Requirements:

"Stroke experience and NIHSS are both preferred . Will need to precept and possibly work in the virtual room. This is a Stroke and Neuro floor. They also have ortho and spine patients.
We are a comprehensive stroke center. Ratios 3:1 SD patients and 5:1 all other patients."

Required: RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below
Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel
Required: All Candidates are expected to Float as needed

Job Summary: Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. Responsibilities include delivering competent patient care, documenting responses to interventions, assisting physicians in examinations and procedures, administering medications, monitoring physiological data, and interacting with patients and families to share care plans and hospital procedures. Delegation of tasks to support staff and referrals to appropriate personnel are also part of the role.

Required Qualifications:
• 1 year of experience
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
• Basic computer skills

Required Education:
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Preferred Education:
• Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program

Required Certifications & Licensure:
• Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
• Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association
