Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 4 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple locations

• No current placement allowed at Program: FlexCare Partner Network Program - Adventist Health.

Additional Details:

Preferred Credentials: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

Unit Details: Provides care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Unit work includes IV therapy, blood products, indwelling catheters and drains, epidural management, and acute post-op wound care. Uses Omnicell. No IV or transport team; lift team available . Pharmacy hours with on-call pharmacist, and phlebotomy is available 24/7 from the lab. Unit secretary available ; hospitalist coverage 24/7; no intensivist.

Shift & Scheduling: No call. Weekend coverage required. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.

Floating Requirements: You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.
