Exciting Opportunity: Locum Physician OB Hospitalist in Baytown, TX

Required Skills

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Valid medical license to practice in Texas
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Proven experience in obstetric hospitalist roles or inpatient OB services
Strong clinical skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Nice to Have Skills

Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Prior work in hospitalist or facility-based obstetrics settings
BLS, NRP, and other relevant certifications
Fluency in additional languages a plus

Preferred Education and Experience

Residency or fellowship training in Obstetrics and Gynecology
At least 2 years of clinical experience in obstetrics, preferably in a hospitalist setting
Prior locum or temporary staffing experience is advantageous

Other Requirements

Willingness to start on 12/31/2025
Ability to travel to and work in Baytown, TX
Compliance with all licensure, certification, and credentialing requirements
Must adhere to all applicable state, federal, and local laws, including safety and privacy regulations
