Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a contract position in Med/Surg Telemetry. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and must hold a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and implementing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and care protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 18 months of combined permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Must hold a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license at the time of submission.
• Reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty applying for is required.
