Job Title: MSP System Administrator Location: Hybrid – Based near Hazlet, NJ | Local Travel Only Salary: $70,000-$75,000 Schedule: 3–4 days remote, 1–2 days onsite at local client locations

The Opportunity

We're hiring a System Administrator with both technical depth and a proactive mindset. This is a hybrid position ideal for a Level 2 engineer who's eager to grow into cloud and project-based work. You'll spend approximately 25% of your time on cloud migrations, server deployments, and project rollouts—and the remaining 75% managing client systems, resolving escalations, and improving overall infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle system administration tasks for Windows Servers, cloud platforms, and networking environments
• Deploy cloud-based projects, including Azure migrations and Microsoft 365 configurations
• Support client networks, firewalls (Meraki, FortiGate), backup systems (Datto, Carbonite), and endpoint security
• Troubleshoot issues escalated from Tier 1 and Tier 2 support
• Maintain documentation in ConnectWise Manage
• Travel locally to client sites as needed (within 30 minutes of Hazlet, NJ)

• Cloud: Azure, Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory
• Servers & Systems: Windows Server, Active Directory
• Networking & Security: Meraki, FortiGate, Firewalls, VPNs
• Tools: ConnectWise Manage, Outlook, Datto, Carbonite

Who You Are

• 3+ years of experience in a system administration or MSP support role
• Familiarity with cloud deployments (Azure, Microsoft 365)
• Strong troubleshooting skills across networking, servers, and endpoints
• Organized, client-focused, and comfortable handling both day-to-day and project-based tasks
• Eager to grow your skillset in cloud and cybersecurity
