Description

• Conduct evaluations for children with a wide range of developmental, orthopedic, and neurological needs
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on movement, balance, strength, and independence
• Collaborate with families, physicians, and educators to ensure continuity of care across home, school, and clinical settings
• Guide parents and caregivers on therapy goals, progress, and exercises to continue at home
• Document patient evaluations, treatments, and progress while maintaining compliance with all standards
• Participate in care team meetings to ensure a coordinated approach to pediatric care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Pediatric specialization or prior pediatric experience strongly preferred
• CPR certification

Skills

• Experience working with children and families in clinical or school-based environments
• Ability to adapt treatment plans to a wide variety of developmental stages and diagnoses
• Compassionate communicator who can engage children and reassure families
