Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Telemetry

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in the Medical Surgical/Telemetry specialty. This contract position offers night shifts focused on patient monitoring and support within a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patient conditions to ensure timely intervention and care adjustments.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
• Document patient findings, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Comply with all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards throughout patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio or Compact State license in good standing at the time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Demonstrate active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Provide one recent reference from a supervisor or manager within the last 12 months.
• Successfully pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores.
• Be compliant with facility drug screening and background check requirements.
