As a Security Officer Full Time Screener in Tampa, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Screener in a healthcare location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, communicating clearly, and responding to security-related concerns. Your visible presence and professional customer service will help deter incidents while supporting patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access screening protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals entering the healthcare location in accordance with established procedures, including verifying authorization, directing visitors, and communicating entry requirements.
• Observe and report unusual activity, policy concerns, and potential hazards to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter, as applicable, while maintaining awareness of conditions that may require attention.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
