Helpdesk Technician

We are committed to providing exceptional support to healthcare professionals, and we are now seeking a dedicated and skilled Helpdesk Technician to join our internal support team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for all IT-related queries, ensuring our internal staff have the reliable technology they need to support our network of nurses and healthcare partners. Key Responsibilities Serving as the initial point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance over the phone, via email, or through our ticketing system. Performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions. Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners. Responding to service issues and requests in a timely manner, ensuring clear communication throughout the resolution process. Managing user accounts, including creation, modification, and password resets. Escalating unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel. Maintaining a log of all issues and their resolutions in the helpdesk system. Assisting in the development of IT documentation and user support guides. Qualifications Proven experience in a helpdesk, desktop support, or a similar technical support role. Strong knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products. Familiarity with both PC and Mac hardware and software. Experience with remote desktop applications and helpdesk software. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. The ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues efficiently. A patient and professional demeanour when dealing with users of varying technical abilities. A relevant professional certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified) would be advantageous but is not essential.
