Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

A growing engineering and environmental consulting firm is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join its Chicago team. This role will have a strong focus on recruiting engineering professionals, with a particular emphasis on Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and other highly technical disciplines that support the firm's continued growth nationwide. What You'll Do: Lead full-cycle recruitment for engineering and technical positions across the U.S. Focus heavily on sourcing and recruiting Geotechnical Engineers, Environmental Engineers, Project Engineers, and other engineering professionals Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand workforce planning and hiring needs Develop proactive talent pipelines for critical engineering skill sets Utilize innovative sourcing strategies to identify passive engineering talent Track recruiting metrics, hiring trends, and market intelligence Support employer branding initiatives and strengthen the firm's talent acquisition presence What We're Looking For: 3–7+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within engineering, environmental consulting, construction, or professional services environments Experience recruiting for highly technical roles, including engineering-focused positions Prior exposure to Geotechnical Engineering recruitment is highly desirable Strong sourcing, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills Ability to influence hiring decisions and manage multiple priorities across different business units Bachelor's degree preferred Why Join This Organization?
