Team Member Opportunity At Sleepy Ridge Golf CourseHeirloom Restaurant Group is a restaurant brand management company with more than 10 brands and continually growing. We are a collection of individuals who care and work together each day to create meaningful experiences.Heirloom is looking for team members to join its Sleepy Ridge Golf Course food services operations. Team members will be part of the crew providing food and beverages to the golf club guests, both in the cafe and, in a few weeks, in the Range golfing experience. We are looking for people who love people, can follow a recipe, can maintain a clean work environment, and interact with the golf club patrons. This is a place where the customers become friends.Responsibilities:Menu Knowledge and Preparation:Have a good understanding of the menu items, including ingredients and pricing.Assist customers with menu inquiries and provide recommendations if needed.Suggest additional items, promotions, or upsells to enhance the customer's dining experience.Prepare the menu items according to recipes and brand standardsEnsure orders are accurate and delivered correctly to the customerCustomer Service:Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering assistance, and processing orders accurately.Enter orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system promptly and efficiently.Address customer concerns or issues related to orders, payments, or service.Collaborate with management to resolve more complex problems.Maintain Clean and Organized Workspace:Keep the cafe area clean and well-organized.Arrange menus, promotional materials, and other items neatly.Keep displays and refrigerators stocked and tidy.Keep kitchen according to health department standardsCash Handling:Handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment accurately.Provide change to customers and process transactions in accordance with established procedures.Follow cash handling policies and procedures to prevent discrepancies.Adhere to security measures to safeguard against theft or fraud.Complete end-of-shift procedures, including balancing cash registers and preparing reports.Secure cash and close out the POS system accurately.Requirements:Food preparation experience preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.Food handlers permitBe over 21 years of ageHeirloom Restaurant Group is dedicated to creating a workplace where a diverse and inclusive team thrives in an environment free from discrimination.
