Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary:

Provides specialized respiratory care to patients with pulmonary and cardiopulmonary disorders across emergency, intensive care, and therapeutic settings. Ensures optimal patient outcomes through diagnostic testing, invasive and non-invasive monitoring, and patient education.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer and monitor respiratory treatments and therapies for patients with various pulmonary conditions.
  
  
• 
  Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators and monitors.
  
  
• 
  Conduct diagnostic tests such as EKGs and lung function assessments.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document patient progress and responses to treatments accurately.
  
  
• 
  Participate in quality assurance and process improvement initiatives.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Possess 2+ years of Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience.
  
  
• 
  Be comfortable working with ventilators and performing EKGs.
  
  
• 
  Hold current NBRC certification and a valid state license in Michigan.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current ACLS and BLS (AHA) certifications.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate ability to adapt to fast-paced clinical environments.
