We're excited to welcome a driven, dependable professional who is ready to contribute, grow, and make a meaningful impact on our team.POSITION SUMMARY: The Production Scheduler is responsible for creating, monitoring, and optimizing the master production schedule to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products. This role acts as the critical bridge between Sales, Supply Chain, Engineering, and the Shop Floor. You will balance customer demand, machine capacity, labor availability, and material constraints to build highly efficient production plans that minimize downtime and maximize throughput.Essential FunctionsDevelop, maintain, and publish production schedules for all manufacturing work centers.Monitor daily production outputs, track progress against the schedule, and proactively adjust for variances, bottlenecks, or equipment breakdowns.Collaborate with Production Control/Customer Service to evaluate lead times for new orders and assess the impact of schedule changes or expedites.Assist with cost analysis, price variance tracking, and supplier cost reduction initiatives.Maintain accurate purchasing and planning data within ERP/MRP systems.QualificationsBachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, operations, or a related field5+ years of experience in manufacturing planning, purchasing, or supply chain rolesExperience working in a regulated manufacturing environment preferredProficiency with ERP/MRP systemsExperience with aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated industriesFamiliarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, or similar quality systemsKnowledge of supplier quality requirements and material flow-down controlsPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is primarily performed in a professional office setting requiring prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. The role may involve standing for extended periods, lifting materials or parts up to 30lbs, performing repetitive tasks, or working in front of a screen for extended periods. Work indoors and outdoors; exposure to temperatures commensurate with outdoor seasonal temperatures.
