divh2Accounting Manager - Culligan Retail North America/h2pResponsibilities: The Accounting Manager will be responsible for heavily influencing the month-end close, reporting, and audit processes for the Culligan Retail North America BU. This includes heavy coordination with other accounting team members, completion of all necessary journal entries, review of financial statements, assisting with internal/external audit requests, maintenance of a strong internal control structure and variance analysis to ensure that the needs of key business partners are met./ppSpecific Job Functions:/pulliFacilitate the month-end close process, which includes, but is not limited to: posting, documenting, and reviewing journal entries within a 4-day close in accordance with US GAAP/liliEnsuring completion adequate review of all account reconciliations in Blackline/liliAssisting in supplemental reporting required by the Corporate Controllers group/liliConfirming intercompany balances are reconciled on a timely basis/liliCollaborating with key operations personnel throughout the organization/liliPreparation distribution of monthly management reports and financial statements/liliEnsuring all necessary accruals are made in accordance with company policy US GAAP/liliOversight of banking, receivables and payables transactions/liliCoordinating with Corporate Tax group to address property and sales tax matters/liliAssist in the forecasting and annual budget process/liliDrive financial reporting standardization in accordance with Corporate accounting policies procedures/liliAssist in development of accounting policies and procedures/liliDeliver on special projects and ad-hoc tasks as assigned/liliChampion strengthening of internal controls and drive towards Sarbanes-Oxley compliance locally/liliProvide supporting data for quarterly and annual audits/li/ulpJob Requirements:/pulliBachelors Degree (B.S.) in Accounting from a four-year college or university and four years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment/liliProven ability to influence a team in a results-oriented culture/liliProficiency in MS Office products Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of MS Excel/liliStrong attention to detail Ability to communicate complex accounting topics to non-accounting teams/liliAbility to work cross functionally/liliAbility to adapt in fast-paced environments/liliExperience with SAGE, Blackline, and HFM a plus/liliCPA designation licensure preferred/li/ulpCompetencies:/pulliResourcefulness/liliCustomer Focus/liliTeam Player/liliPassion/liliIntegrity/liliOrganizational/Planning/liliCommunication/liliSelf-Awareness/liliEnergy/liliAnalytical Judgement/Decision Making/liliDetail Oriented/li/ulpTarget Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000 per year plus bonus.
