As a CT Technologist, you will perform a variety of technical procedures under the direction of a Radiologist, using your independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.

In this role, you will:

• Perform all required radiographic procedures, including X-rays and Fluoro, and operate a CT scanner to produce cross-sectional radiographs.
• Position and immobilize patients on examining tables, ensuring precise positioning and following protocols specified by the Radiologist.
• Administer contrast media orally and/or IV as ordered by the referring physician or Radiologist.
• Enter technical data into the scanner computer and start the CT scanner to scan designated anatomical areas.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort, ensuring the quality of images produced.
• Transport patients according to their physical abilities and use positioning aids to produce quality exams.
• Maintain all records according to X-ray Department policies and procedures, and ensure rooms are cleaned and restocked following each examination.

Requirements for this position include:

• Registered/certified CT Technologist with satisfactory completion of formal radiology technology training in an AMA-approved school.
• ARRT registration and BLS Certification required.
• Need 2 years experience in setting.
• Physical ability to perform tasks involving considerable walking, standing, bending, and lifting of patients and equipment.
