Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care across Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, including potential assignment to a sister campus approximately 16 minutes away
• Administer and manage IV drips as required on all floors
• Float within scope to meet facility staffing needs across multiple units, which may include Observation, Stepdown, Heart and Vascular, Neuroscience, Ortho, Trauma, Oncology, and PCU-level units
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including CNAs, care techs, transport, and swoop/paramedics
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Adhere to all facility policies, including a 100% nicotine-free facility requirement

• Active or pending Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Nebraska (pending license accepted; if not in hand at time of submission, start date will be scheduled six weeks out)
• BLS certification required (ACLS strongly preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with experience in a large, urban hospital required
• First-time travelers not accepted; exceptions considered for candidates with 2 years of experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center
• EPIC charting experience required
• Must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

• ACLS certification
• Experience in a Level I Academic Medical Center or high-acuity teaching hospital environment
• Familiarity with complex patient populations including oncology, trauma, neuroscience, or transplant
• Experience floating across multiple unit types within a large health system
